Could you use a new way to create colorful and whimsical pieces that you can use as gifts, decorate your home, or start your own small craft business? All of this is possible when you learn a few new tips and tricks from our very own Carol Shelkin and her latest course here at Create Arts Online.
Carol has over 40 years of experience as an art instructor in a variety of mediums. Alcohol inks are one of her favorite media due to the variety of colors, their versatility, and the substrates they can be created on.
In this course Carol starts with a very thorough powerpoint presentation where she shares in-depth a step-by-step process from introducing the inks all the way to completing a few different projects. This presentation includes many different material choices in addition to the PDF that is downloadable from this course. After the presentation Carol demonstrates in real time a few ways to create with the alcohol inks.
Carol has an exclusive technique she started creating many years ago that became a huge hit in her live workshops: it is the use of tempered “crash” glass on top of her alcohol ink creations. In this course Carol walks you through the method for creating this type of tempered glass project.
This course comes with a PDF for download with a suggested list of the tools, materials, and resources so you can get started.
