In this course, Elizabeth Haidle will help you translate your designs into wearable art—by needle felting colors and shapes into existing sweaters, hats, robes, and more.
Whether you prefer abstract, repeating patterns or comics characters, you'll learn all the steps necessary to transform your idea into the tactile world of fiber.
If you prefer the analogue route, it’s easy to make templates with cut paper and scissors. Are you digital-savvy or curious? There are tips for using Procreate on the iPAD to explore all the options until you’ve landed your favorite solution.

Your Instructor
Elizabeth Haidle lives in Portland, Oregon and specializes in nonfiction comics. She is the art & editorial director at Illustoria magazine. Her illustrations have appeared in graphic novels, picture books, and magazines such as the Nib and the New Yorker. Recent projects include an illustrated Tarot For All Ages deck, published by Laurence King, and luxury pajama sets with Rock Soup. She teaches online and in-person workshops involving experimental comics, figure painting, and personal art practices.
