Create Arts Online is thrilled to have the very talented Katherine England teaching her “Soldering” online course.

Katherine takes a very old technique and puts a contemporary spin on it while teaching you the proper skills and the best tools and materials needed for great results.

Katherine takes you step-by-step through a variety of projects. She starts with how to solder stained glass for creating stars that you can hang from a window or other display. Next, you will see how Katherine takes simple glass shapes and solders them together with colorful and quirky paper in between the layers for creating a unique one-of-a-kind bird.

Katherine will show you a multitude of ways that you can use soldering within a mixed media approach. These techniques will open up your creative mind to a million new ideas.

Katherine shares some of the great hacks she has created to make the process even easier and more fun. Each of these techniques takes some practice, but once you are comfortable with your soldering iron and the solder, the sky will be the limit with what you can create.

This course comes with a PDF for download that includes Katherine’s recommended tools, materials, and resources.
